What we have been witnessing over the decades, and especially today with the Obama administration, is the deliberate and systematic destruction of the middle class, the perversion of our constitution, and a gradual loss of our freedoms. Our manufacturing base has been sent to Mexico, India and the Asian Pacific. In the past ten years thousands upon thousands of American manufacturing companies have moved off shore. The wealth of a nation depends on its manufacturing base. Only by taking raw materials and creating usable products can real wealth be created. When you squeeze down a pile of silica sand into an integrated circuit you are creating real wealth and a high standard of living. A nation cannot have a viable economy and a decent standard of living by promoting tourism, or doing each others laundry. We are witnessing the dismantling of America.
The socialists/Marxists in our government have used the environment as a ruse to prohibit America from using her own energy resources, resulting in high energy prices and making us dangerously dependent on fanatical Middle Eastern countries who are draining our economy. We can’t drill off the coast of Florida, but it’s okay for Castro to drill off the coast of Cuba.

I agree, but with this added thought. It is not just the current admin, this has been going on longer than 10 years and both parties are to blame. We as john Q Public are to blame as well. We have decided that all we want is cheap, ergo, the walmarting of America. We have forgot about quality, local biz and have ran to the big box stores, who sell cheap goods made in other countries.
