Maybe, just maybe, if there would have been a little more Capitalism and a little less Socialism these signs and this business would have been able to stand against the recession of the last 4 years.

So much hate. Instead of a fair and clean election for Congress this “open primary” stuff have brought out the very worst in our Party and gave the democrats no representation at all. The most radical of the democrats were left with no voice and idle. You know what they say, “Idle hands are the Devil’s Workshop.”

  2. Larry Briggs Larry Briggs says:

Drove to Yucca this afternoon and noticed on the way that all the candidate’s signs were down except Gregg Imus’s.

    • Dan OBrien Dan OBrien says:

Who the hell cares? Its not like he has several weeks to pull them down.. Get over it.

    • Thanks Larry,

Gregg Imus has a whole army of supporters, thus, What Goes up, Must Come Down.

Including the those signs the Town Manager and Town-officials paid for.

I’m not picking on Gregg Imus… he offered much hope to many people. All all of us could relate to the many issues Mr. Imus supported, regardless of political affiliations.

      • Dan OBrien Dan OBrien says:

And he has 30 days to remove them…. I think it is important to be reminded of just how dirty politics can be by keeping those signs up a few more days….. His opposition cooped the signs with their own messages. If the opposition does not like what they wrote on them then they should gather and remove them at their expense.

      • Paparrazi Paparrazi says:

Branson. glad you feel that what goes up must come down. I agree. Hope you hold Mr Cook to the same standards. I can give you gps coordinates on his signs up here if your willing to help Mr Cook. I’m not complaining about Mr Cooks signs that are still up but to be fair, if your not picking on Imus you should ask the same of Mr Cook as well. After you go UP to get them for Mr Cook, you must go Down with them. :)

    • Paparrazi Paparrazi says:

Larry, There’s still Cook signs up here in Lake Arrowhead. Of course I expected that since this is not his home turf. I’m sure that you’ve left a for sale sign or two up after you’ve lost the listing right? What’s your point?

  3. Larry Briggs Larry Briggs says:

Dan, get over it, Gregg can try again in 2014.

    • Dan OBrien Dan OBrien says:

And we start today on his campaign…. two years of exposing RINO politics and DO nothing policies.

We now know what kind of dirt bag we’ve elected, we just have to keep people apprised of his dirty ways. I plan to keep a spotlight on the old son of a bitch for the full term of office.

You lay over the Barrel Larry, and take it like a man. I choose to stand and and deliver.

      • Larry Briggs Larry Briggs says:

Dan, you are a poor loser and a bitter old man.

        • Dan OBrien Dan OBrien says:

Well yes I am Larry a bit bitter… but then I am a loyal man, a singularly dedicated fiscal and Constitutional Conservative man. A man you wished would be in your corner when the chips are down. Poor loser? Like I said the campaign starts now to replace this guy.

I am supposed to feel good about Millions of dollars from outside the district sources financing a dirty campaign of a ineffectual at best self serving political hack? Really is that the way you see it Larry?

And talking about old men… what are you now 92 or something?

        • Paparrazi Paparrazi says:

Larry, Dan didn’t like Mr Cook before the campaign. His sentiments have little to do with losing.

      • Richard Deaver Richard Deaver says:

“We” didn’t elect the dirt bag, he bought his way in with Munger money and the San Manuels, you know that Dan, and as far as being “bitter”? Larry, It’s called anger, at the chicanery used to dupe the uninformed/intellectualy challenged voters, the same ones who also voted for James Ramos, who will not be allowed to serve a day as our supervisor due to the conflict of intrest he will be creating because he is a citizen of a soverign nation that has direct and ongoing dealings with the county. Just get back in your box.

      • Paparrazi Paparrazi says:

Not just a RINO, a RINOCRAT

        • Larry Briggs Larry Briggs says:

          How about Mainstream Republican?

          • Paparrazi Paparrazi says:

If thats the case it’s a sad thing. I met Congressman Jerry Lewis at the US Capital Building in 2006 and though he might be considered a Mainstream Republican, he always took the high road when it came to campaigning. Personally he was upbeat, and a forward thinker that stayed true to his convictions. He truly left me with the impression that he cared about those that he represented whether they voted for him or not. He was also known to participate in his local election by actually showing up to debate. Sadly I think those attributes are not something that describe Mr Cook.

  4. Dan OBrien Dan OBrien says:

Fellow Clique Member And our Minister of Political Banners and outdoor Propaganda on the right wing of the clique, Richard Deaver is at this very moment removing all signage of our beloved friend Gregg Imus.

Be aware that a bunch of the James Ramos signs still out there uncollected. Many of the Nastande signs are still up. Our sources in the Victor Valley and Parts North are telling us that Cook has abundant signage still up and quite noticeable. Papa reports Cook Signs are still up in the San Bernardino Mountain Communities.

We will be completely clear of any Imus signs within an hour of this posting….

    • Paparrazi Paparrazi says:

Yes it’s true that Paul Cook signs are still up in the mountain communities. IMO both sides have done an excellent job of getting them down. Finding them all not an easy task. I’d say that the faithful supporters on both sides should be commended for their efforts before and after the election to express their political views in our free country. On the losing side on many of my votes I still find joy in participating in our great peaceful election process. Instead of endlessly complaining that our guy lost, lets find common ground to support Mr Cook, I’m sure he’d get more done if we do. At the same time lets not forget to remind him that he still represents us. Maybe we’ll ignite that warrior spirit that I’m sure he once had so he can fight the good fight.

  5. Scots Slant Scots Slant says:

Wow, that is a very nice post Papa.

That was so nice I won’t even call you “Racemutt.”
