Gregg Imus vs Paul Cook: Update on this supposed Imus warrant

Editors Note: Just the other day Gregg Imus wrote you about the hate mail you have been getting from the Cook Campaign. This is a Update on one of the accusations that were made in a flier sent to you in the mail.

Accusation:

He (Gregg Imus) has an active Ventura County arrest warrant.

Gregg Imus wrote the following response…..

Response:

As far as the supposed outstanding warrant for failing to appear citing Ventura County Superior Court, this is absolutely false. I have called and entered the case number and nothing comes up on the computer. I don’t think I have even entered into Ventura County since I was young.

UPDATE October 26, 2012:

After several attempts contacting the Ventura County Superior Court, they have located an outstanding warrant for a spark arrestor violation from 1988. Today I appeared before a judge at the Ventura County Courthouse. The judge immediately dismissed this case. After looking at the date of the citation the judge said this record should have never appeared. The judge had a brief conversation with the district attorney and they both agreed it was suspicious. The judge asked the clerk to have the situation investigated.

There were no original records to this citation so one can only conclude this is a complete fabrication from the Cook campaign. We all know Paul Cook is obsessed with restricting OHV’s (see Gregg Imus’ Response to Paul Cook’s AB 1595), so it is ironic that this fabrication was for a spark arrestor violation. Clearly Paul Cook is out to get motorcyclists and off roaders.

Editors Note: I hope they discover this warrant was generated by one of Cook’s cronies. I then hope they indict the crooked son of a bitch, try him, convict him, and sentence him to what’s left of the miserable bastards life in jail.

Someone in the cook camp is an assassin. Not a very effective one but an assassin none the less. A character assassin that attempted to create from broadcloth an obscure spark arrestor infraction that was either long purged or never existed in the first place to ruin the reputation of an opposing candidate is just scraping the bottom of the barrel.

It is obvious this is the last throws of a failed candidacy that just could not get legs after coming in second to Gregg Imus.

Cook came out the gate dirty. But he found out that his dirty campaign tactics gave the Imus campaign power. What Cook thought was negative was instead reassurance to the voter that Gregg Imus was just like us. Flaws and all Gregg Imus was a much better choice than a career government bureaucrat looking to pad his retirement with one more pension.

In this last full week before the election we need to redouble our efforts to get Gregg’s message out. Gregg Imus is the better candidate and better man. Let your friends, neighbors and work mates know.

    Onward to Victory!

It was violent drug addicted stalkers flying illegal black helicopters across the boarder that swept into the courthouse and changed my records forcing me to go on welfare.

This will come as a shock because many of you know that Laura and I are true Blue Democrats.

But she and I have also been through the political process. One thing that we agreed upon was that conviction of purpose was paramount. One must not stand with political party but rather with the ideal of conviction.

We as a family do not agree with almost anything the current Republican Party is espousing. Although we both supported Ronald Reagan because he had the moral compass of conviction.

Many did not, and still do not, agree with my ideas of where our city should be headed but none can say that I lacked conviction.

Laura and I voted for Greg Imus! He is as far right as can be but he has what Laura and I believe to be sacrosanct – he believes in what he says. We may not agree with it but he is real person.

There you go my Republican friends two democrats that voted for Greg Imus. We will not be voting for Romney or Ryan, they do not have all that stuff that I just talked about!

Steve, your sentiments are similar to how I felt when I learned the Gregg was running. I said it clearly that my vote was based entirely on character. At that time I had little knowledge of Paul Cook. Now that I know more about Greggs purpose and reason for representing us and unfortunately the pious nature of Mr Cook I’m more convinced that I made the right choice. Your absolutely correct in the difficult position that you as democrats face. It’s the same reason that I, as a conservative didn’t vote for McCain the last time.
