Politics really is dirty business. For most of my life I had little to do with politics and then my husband and I met a most incredible candidate. He spoke about how “We the People” need to hold our government accountable for the waste and reckless spending. He didn’t just talk about illegal immigration; he explained how he and Tim Donnelly co-founded the CA Minuteman Corp; how he personally spent more than 2500 hours on the border protecting the sovereignty of this country. Who does that? We were sold on Gregg Imus.
Gregg Imus’ opponent is Assemblyman Paul Cook, a once decorated Marine Corp Colonel who earned his medals years ago in service to his country. Today, let’s talk about Paul Cook, the long-time Sacramento politician. Cook has received $502,000 in campaign support from the Spirit of Democracy America Super PAC(mungerwatch.com) which was created by 2 main groups; the San Manuel Band of Indians, Democrat James Ramos’ tribe, and Charles Munger Jr, a billionaire from the Bay area who wields substantial power within the CA Republican Party. The Spirit of Democracy America has paid for Cook’s TV commercials on Fox News, internal polling, and all but one of the obnoxious mailers many households have received.
It is interesting how PAC mailers work. First they deluge your mailbox with mailers, then they stop for a few days to see if their blatantly erroneous message is working with the voters; then they commence with the deceptive polling.
Some of you may have received a phone call stating that the paid-for caller was just checking your opinion on candidates. If you said you didn’t know or might vote for Imus, they unloaded with a list of derisive statements, like, “If you knew ___, would you still vote for him”? This continues until you change your vote, or they finally give up. If you received that phone call, you were just used as a pawn in their political game. The poll was paid for by Cook’s very supportive Super PAC. The “polling” company is paid to sway your opinion on candidates. I hope you didn’t fall for this deceptive practice.
Gregg Imus’ campaign is funded by people like us; Cook is funded by Super PACs, (I counted 35 not including Spirit of Democracy), Indian gaming, and unions; most every one of these PACs and donors are outside this district, only $10,000 was donated within the district (FEC.gov).
Paul Cook whose campaign signs no longer identify him as a Republican, once honored his country by his military service, but today; there is no honor in smearing the reputation of a respectable, hard-working man like Gregg Imus.
Gregg Imus vs Paul Cook: The Game of Politics,

Anyone else notice that Imus’s signs have been disappearing? I guess the leftists have run out of catchy slogans, so they are just removing signs, stakes and all, that or maybe someone has a minuteman fetish and they have a shrine ‘wallpapered’ with Imus signs.
