Yucca Valley, Ca.-Christmas came early for the Lovell family and their son, Chuck.  Their pets, Dakota and Blaze, were returned after being impounded at the Yucca Valley Animal shelter for almost eight months and the Town of Yucca Valley spending over $50,000.00 in court fees.

The pets were allowed to mate while being held in captivity in order to save the life of the male who refused to eat when his sibling was in heat. The result was four extra puppies returning home to the Lovell family with the mother until such time they can thrive on their own to be adopted out.

I won’t go into too many details at this time except to say the documents to release all claims and conditions of release turned this saga into a Happy Homecoming.

Here are a few photos of those first hours of returning home to their family and getting re-acquainted.

So where are all you commenters at that had so much doubt? Papparazi, Mike, and who ever. Why aren’t you commenting on how nice it is to get them home etc? Damn Dawgers.

Damn Dawgers. Sorry I think you confused me with someone else that you don’t like. But since you threw me a bone the least I can do is nibble. I really don’t think I have enough information on this fiasco other than I’m glad that dogs have been returned. I’m not sure why they were taken away in the first place? Hopefully this thread won’t get closed before your able to respond to my post. BTW, Blaze looks like my cousin, Duke. Ain’t no way their gonna clip my manhood. Once you do that you’ll have to rename him from Blaze to Flicker… good luck

  3. The moronic actions of the Yucca Valley city and its management team, tax dollars wasted to fill the egos of those in charge.

No it’s not “doubt” Damn Dawgers, the word is pissed. Do you not understand that my issue is with the type of irresponsible, inaccurate, sensationalized, disingenuous, illogical one sided reporting that results in misinformed opinion? You and your associates would have us believe the dogs were the victims.

Re. “Why aren’t you commenting on how nice it is to get them home etc? – I think it will be “NICE” if the dog/dogs never bite anyone again! Why do you ask, do you not think it best to let seeping dogs lie?

    Good Morning all,
Yo papparazi I don’t dislike you, I may not always agree with you on your opininons but you are entitled. I’m surprised you don’t know more of the issue.
The town did these 2 dogs wrong, I don’t know if you watched the videos, but these are the “potentially dangerous dogs” labeled by a non-qualified animal control officer Kim Casey, and a sit in judge Mark Mahony, upon hearsay from 2 witnesses not credible, who wouldn’t show up in court! It took Casey 3 attempts to get her reports to where it looks as if they are guilty. Its all over Casey n lovell exchanging words. Dawgers.

Damn Dawgers, let me start this with a :) I’ll take you at your word when you say you don’t dislike me. I guess when you called me an a….hole you were upset. I can see this situation would be very stressful. Like you I think blogs like this are one of the great variants of free speech. I’m sorry but I really haven’t done enough research into your ordeal. I only watched the video where the women said something to the effect your going to get your manly parts cut off tomorrow. You should have saved those manly parts for Mark. Maybe he’s into eating Dog Nuts. Now a word of advice. When your placing your order at Smiths don’t get the “Corn Dogs” Who knows whats in those things? Stick with popcorn. Just sayin….

      dog nuts

If I remember right this is one of those issues that no matter what the town of yucca did it was a dam if you do dam if you don’t. Was there not some kind of mauling not long before this incident? Would the citizens been up in arms if the dogs were giving a pass after they scared the crap out of an old lady causing here to fall? Unfortunately timing was a problem for these dogs. It may be time to move on.

  7. Damn Dawgers Damn Dawgers says:

    Hello Mike,
No sir you have me all wrong. Its unfortunate that it happened at all. Granted the dog that did bite her deserved the punishment, both dogs did not bite her and after the 10 day quarantine at least 1 should have been released. That didn’t happen and that’s when the dogs became the victims, espescially after letting them mate. By the way Blaze was cut yesterday. What I can’t seem to get through to you is that it was an accident, it was not a mauling or viscious at all. Now Casey had to come up for an excuse as to her mistakes, so to cover her ass, she made it look as if Blaze n Dakota were both guilty. So she wrote in her last report, that Lovell had trained his dogs to take this lady down as if she was thier prey? PLEASE< REALLY? The truth shall one day come out, but it won't be from Casey, or Nuaimi, or Schooler and Crider. But you know as well as I, the truth always prevails. Damn Dawgers.

  8. Damn Dawgers Damn Dawgers says:

No this was not a mauling, or viscous attack as they would like you to beleive.Granted it was an elderly lady that I’m sure was scared as hell. My opinion only is I beleive she scared Blaze as much as he scared her, she wasn’t knocked down, she chose to fall to the ground in her own words trying to protect herself, I feel her screaming confused the dog. My main thing here is not both dogs were guilty! By the way would you eat a loved one, I doubt it! Damn Dawgers.

    • Terry Elam Terry Elam says:

Old ladies should not be put in that position.
Neither dog deserved punishment. They were doing what dogs do. They only needed to be kept under control. They still do. What’s happening in that regards?

  9. Damn Dawgers Damn Dawgers says:

whoa ouch those weren’t my nuts getting cut off or they’d be called dawg nuts. anyway that’s funny papparazi, I apolgize for calling you an a hole, but ypu said you didn’t like sir. j/k.I think we got off on the wrong paw at that time.so please accept my apology and let’s go feed some dawg nuts to nuaimi.
