Yucca Valley, Ca.- It seems I was not the only one curious about Jim Bagley’s many appearances at the James Ramos Greet n’ Meet gatherings in the race for Third District Supervisor. Bagley, came in third with 20% of the vote in his bid to unseat fellow Republican,Third District Supervisor Neil Derry, forcing a run-off between Ramos and Derry.

While Bagley was considered background noise in the June Primary, both candidates are now paying some attention to him in seeking his endorsement.

Bagley was quoted in a recent interview with the Press Enterprise:

“I really have no intention of making an endorsement,” he said.

Bagley said he considers both “personal friends.”

In recent months, he has appeared at campaign events in the Morongo Valley introducing Ramos to voters but only because he asked. Bagley said he would do the same for Derry if requested.”  Full story>>>>link

  1. Wait a minute... Bagles claims he is friends with both Derry and Ramos and that he is not making an endorsement. Okay that is fair.

However, then he introduces James Ramos at a speakers forum. You can't have it both ways. Jim Bagley appears to have a penchant for unexpected knucklehead behavior in the public arena.

Remember early on in the campaign for supervisor, Jim showed up as a LAFCO Commissioner at a LAFCO meeting and was vigorously campaigning outside and inside the facilities.

Jim, what the heck are you thinking.
