Press Release-Basin Democrats will gather this Sunday in Yucca Valley when the Morongo Basin Democratic Club meets from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Aztec Mobile Home Park Club House off Church Street. Mark Orozco, who aims to represent the Basin in the State Assembly, and other local candidates, will briefly speak.
Also on Sunday’s agenda are updates on the “No on Measure U” effort, Club endorsements, the big Candidate Meet & Greet on October 18th, the Pioneer Days Parade, plus volunteer opportunities and other ways to get involved in the coming election.
Sunday’s meeting is accessible to persons with disabilities and is open to all registered Democrats and invited guests.Voter Registration forms will be available at the meeting. Please park in designated spaces only or on Church Street. Carpooling is encouraged and may be arranged through Jim at 760-272-4361; call him if you need a ride or can offer one to a fellow Democrat.
