Third District County Supervisor candidates, James Ramos and the incumbent Neil Derry, have been invited by the Homestead Valley Community Council to answer your questions and comments and discuss issues of interest to desert residents, in particular the voters in the Homestead Valley communities of Johnson Valley, Landers, Flamingo Heights and Yucca Mesa.
The meeting is at 6:00 p.m. next Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Yucca Mesa Community Center, 3133 Balsa Ave., just off Aberdeen Rd.

Thus far, only Neil Derry has confirmed he can attend, but there is still an open invitation for James Ramos to give us a similar opportunity at a future date.
