The Orchid Festival in Landers was as far as I can tell a success for all those who participated. I know that we had plenty of customers.
It was a great weekend for the folks up in Landers as they came out for their biggest event of the year.
We had so much going on this weekend we are all pleased at being able to share the 10s of thousands of locals who went out this weekend to support the many events.
We passed the Gem and Mineral show at Sportsman’s Park in Joshua Tree and it looked like it was busy.
29 Poker Run, along with Johnson Valley had two big events Oktoberfest and The Sheriffs Search And Rescue events went off too.
We would like to thank Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary letting us set up Mustards Last Stand. We want to especially thank, Debbie Gubler, Chris Gubler and the whole Gubler Orchid crew. We would like to thank the Hi-Desert Cultural Center, along with American Food Bank, Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Desert, Friends of the Yucca Valley Library, Hearts of Yucca Valley, Hospice of Morongo Basin, Joshua Tree Sportsman’s Club “Sportettes”, Joshua Tree Tortoise Rescue, Morongo Basin Community Emergency Response Team, Morongo Basin Coalition for Adult Literacy, Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council, Morongo Basin Historical Society, The Orchid Society of Arizona, Unity Home, and Yucca Valley Soroptimists.
Here is to an even bigger year in 2013!
