On Thursday, September 27, 2012 the Crimes Against Children Detail received information from Child Abuse Forensic Pediatricians from the Children’s Assessment Center/Loma Linda Children’s Hospital regarding a six month old female with injuries to her genitalia consistent with child abuse.

Carey Thomas 23, of  Arrow Bear was subsequently arrested for PC 288.7 – Sex Acts with a Child 10 Years Old or Younger. He was booked at the Central Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail.

Thomas used to volunteer in a kindergarten classroom at the Living Springs Christian School in Arrow Bear, which closed in December 2012.
