On August 26th, 2012, at approximately 2:49 AM, the Rancho Mirage Police Department responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Hwy 111 and Country Club Drive. Lacey Huskey, age 29 of Palm Springs, was traveling westbound on Hwy 111 when she struck the curb line. Upon striking the curb line, Huskey’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, causing the vehicle’s air bags to deploy. Huskey’s vehicle came to rest shortly after striking the tree. Officers from the Rancho Mirage Police Department arrived and Huskey was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI.
