Highly modified RINO
Paul,
Just wanted to drop you a note about your decision to add more regulation to this already Gestapo state.
As a owner of a rhino that has had 30 thousand dollars worth of upgrades to make it safe and fun for my whole family I want to thank you for making it illegal to use in California. While you spend all your time hob knobbing with the liberals in Sacramento, that we the voters sent you there to stop, for exactly this kind of crap. you have now decided to join them in making this state miserable to live or work in.
What has happened to your conservative views? What do you think will happen to the hundreds of California businesses that modify these types of vehicles? What about the thousands of us that can no longer use them here?
You for some time now have not represented any of your constituents other than the military.
I truly believe that you have lost your values for the rights of the citizens.
We need less regulation!
This is the type of representation that has made me support Gregg Imus for congress.
I will do all that I can to let people know about this bill you pushed on us in the coming months.

You are preaching to the choir here but what have you done to make your voice heard where it matters? Here’s some help:

Tim Itnyre has stated that his office has fielded over 100 calls this week alone and they are doing everything in their power to amend portions of the bill. I am a member of close to a dozen different off roading forums and they are alive with debate over this as you might imagine. Problem is that there was NOT ONE call in objection before this bill was signed. Again, NOT ONE person called or wrote in with any concerns.
May I suggest that you make that call? The more the merrier as they say. While I support Mr. Imus myself I do believe that Col. Cook will attempt to make this right.
Here’s a little more so that we may direct our anger in the appropriate direction:
Cook Proposes Clarifications to Off-Road Vehicle Law
For Immediate Release: August 1, 2012
John Sobel (916) 319-2065
SACRAMENTO – Assemblyman Paul Cook (R-Yucca Valley) responded to the off-road vehicle safety guidelines contained in AB 1595 with the following:
“I’m proposing two deletions to this law to address concerns over restrictions on aftermarket seats and passenger height. My goal is to move these clarifications through the Legislature before the end of session.
“The original bill saw wide support over the course of four committee hearings and one presentation on the floor of each house, with no opposition to the bill from any organization or individual at the time. I’m optimistic that these clarifying changes will find the same bipartisan support.”
Anyone seeking more information on these proposed changes should email Assemblymember.cook@assembly.ca.gov.
You know what is funny is the son of a bitch never contacted the Off Road Community in his own town. He knows Tim and Isaac and Ray he could have asked around his own peer group in Yucca and found out it was a dumb ass idea.
The Bill is now Law signed sealed and delivered… there is no cleaning up the language its done…. This guy not only does not deserve our votes he deserves to be forced to resign from office. This is an absolute betrayal of the people who he swore to represent.
It only becomes important during a campaign.
Vote for me, I won’t do anything.
I do wonder how someone does 30 grand worth of safety improvements to a Rhino and why. Perhaps it’s just a way to brag about having $30,000 to waste on one. What sort of family values does that teach?
A non sequitur ( /ˌnɒnˈsɛkwɨtər/; Latin for It does not follow) is a conversational and literary device, often used for comedic purposes. It is a comment that, because of its apparent lack of meaning relative to what preceded it, seems absurd to the point of being humorous or confusing.
This use of the term is distinct from the non sequitur in logic, where it is a fallacy.
Typical Terry pretzel logic. Instead of staying on topic you ALWAYS attack the messenger. Your the joke. Like you said before. Your family doesn’t think your funny.
One more thing Terry. You often refer to Gregg Imus as an empty suit. Where is your outrage with this RINO? Paul’s suit seems nice but the character inside is full of crap.
Blah, Blah, Blah. These people are so out of touch with their constituents it isn’t funny anymore.
Democracy : mob rules
You law and order extreamest known as conservative voted for this ass now you are all crying.
What did he do to make you vote for him? Don’t tell me that conservatives are one issue dumb asses, now look what your dumb asses has left us with a choice between two evils. And u idiots try and blame the liberals
Mark, would a vote for a democrat have changed things? I agree, voting for another Arnold Schwarzenegger will only get us another Arnold Schwarzenegger but instead of a funny accent we’ll get a guy that parades as someone that not only sleeps with the enemy, he is the enemy. It’s now very clear. Vote for Gregg Imus or your goose will be Cooked.
Talk about pretzel logic!!
This state has roughly a 28 billion dollar deficit, Business are leaving as fast as they can get out, our schools are failing, we have 15% unemployment, our roads suck, and this is what our elected officials decide to do with their time. This is all the proof that anyone should need, to see the experiment of letting the democrats run a state is not an option. I believe Paul has been corrupted by time around so many liberals, After to many years, he has been worn down. Tort reform, spending cuts, welfare reform, smaller government, stopping environmental extremism. These are what our elected officials should be working on. Until then this state will continue to fail
That kind of logic is why you are now pouting, don’t let the main stream media define liberal or conservative,
Classical liberalism, a political ideology that advocates free markets, limited government, constitutionalism, rule of law, due process, and individual liberties including freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and others
Conservative liberalism, a variant of liberalism, combining liberal values and policies with conservative stances, or, more simply, representing the right-wing of the liberal movement
Economic liberalism, the ideological belief in organizing the economy on individualist lines, such that the greatest possible number of economic decisions are made by private individuals and not by collective institutions
Social liberalism, the belief that liberalism should include social justice and that the legitimate role of the state includes addressing issues such as unemployment, health care, education, and the expansion of civil rights
Garble is a mystery: Is he a foreigner with only tenuous grasp of English? Is he on drugs? Does he suffer a serious mental debility? Is he typing wearing boxing gloves? Garble’s rampant typos, malapropisms and execrable grammar can’t be blamed solely on poor typing skills. Garble is all the more puzzling because if one manages to hack his way through the tangled muddle of his messages a discernable idea will often emerge. For example, in a forum discussion about a painting he might say, “Sorry the picchr the har is wrog. The culir. I liike the lips bot teh Paintng is sucs”. When someone refers to his random capitalization Garble might say something like, “oPS i HITTED THE CAPDLOCK”. Garble drives Grammarian and Nitpick absolutely nuts, but he disdains all efforts at correction, and if complaints persist he will indignantly sign exit saying, “yuor forum si stupef. bYE!” HINT: Garble may be Net Rat.
Pretzel logic, man that is some chubby logic
Mark, if that gets you thinkin Chubby, try this on for size.
Harry cow, I ain’t going to twist with that!
I had no idea about this bill. Not being in the off-road community it flew by me but if we stay on this road to regulation someday under the guise of personal safety they will want to require us to wear helmets driving in our cars, of course helmets would save lives…ha ha I guess we can’t be responsible for ourselves anymore, I understand having regulations for kids because of parents that don’t watch out for their kids safety but as adults this is ridiculous….. Nice letter Tim…. it gets the point across well for those of us that knew nothing about it, I have already done some research since reading it and your right on track….
