Golden Valley AZ– Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Douglas James Schoniger, 31, and Richard Steven Johnson, 27, both of Kingman, Saturday (7/14) afternoon for burglary and criminal damage, felonies.

At about 2:50 p.m., as deputies were patrolling two vacant houses in the area of Aztec Road and Dora Drive, they observed a white Chevrolet vehicle parked behind one of the houses.

Upon further investigations, deputies located Schoniger and Johnson nearby the residences. During conversations with Schoniger and Johnson, they advised they entered the residence and took copper wire. Deputies observed where an electrical panel had been removed. The property owner was contacted and they wanted prosecution.

Schoniger and Johnson were taken into custody without incident. They were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
