Yucca Valley, Ca.-What can the voters do about this Election Madness?? A start by sending two HDWD career politician incumbents packing……What stronger message can the voters send to this Board of Directors- the ratepayers do not like the way they are doing business!
Citizens across the nation and locally are tired of career politicians and will not accept the status quo. Groups are meeting to express their displeasure of the way politicians are doing business….the Tea Party, the 99%, and other local groups are fed up. This November-Kick Out the Incumbents!
HDWD Director Bob Stadum has served for 13 years and it is time to retire this aged official sending him home this November to take care of his health. He has a Conflict of Interest and cannot vote on the sewer project because he is a builder/developer with several properties in the 1st phase of the sewer project.
Stadum was fined $3,000.00 by the FPPC (Fair Political Practices Commission) for voting on matters to enrich his properties. Stadum was ruled to have a Conflict of Interest. link.He should not run for re-election and step down from office.
“Conflicted Stadum” is only 1/2 a Director because he is legally restricted to vote on the sewer project, the biggest project for this little tiny town.
His problems go back to a Memorandum issued by BBK, Best, Best & Krieger, dated November 29, 2006, addressing his Conflict of Interests: He cannot vote on sewer projects AND HE MUST LEAVE THE ROOM. I will have that document, and others, posted in a few days.
$TOP the MONEY GRAHAM!
HDWD President Sarann Graham, a career politician, also getting up there in years- 72ish, is stuck in the old fashion mode. She needs to be retired this November to spend quality time with her dear husband.
Graham is unable to grasp the high finances of the looming sewer project and fancies herself as the “Official Greeter” of the HDWD looking for photo-ops and ribbon cuttings. She spends HDWD funds taking unauthorized trips to Sacramento as she jets about on our dime. She costs us $125.00 per day, meals, taxis, hotels and airplane fare, as a minimum. link
Time to retire Granny Graham before she trips over her strappy high heels when she wears her skinny blue jeans trying to appear youthful. Elderly people are at high risk for falling due to their failing eyesight and difficulty with their balance resulting in possible life-endangering complications. According to the CDC, hip fractures are common, 9 in 10 fractures occur in people over the age of 60 and the risk doubles every 5 years.
With lots of time on their hands, because they are unemployed, both Stadum and Graham recently racked up the maximum ten meetings in one month @$125.00 each for stipend total of $1,250 each, and collecting $1,400.00 per month, every month, for health, dental and vision benefits.
Wanted: Two Educated YOUNG Candidates to Run for HDWD Office.
Save the HDWD! Step up and represent the citizens and ratepayers on the Board of Directors….looking for slate of two YOUNG candidates with business degrees/engineer experience and a CPA, to replace “Conflicted Stadum” and “Granny Graham.” Citizens are waiting and organized to support two candidates to topple these two oldsters!
