Rumor has it that there has been movement on the Donnell-Burdett fiasco. As we hear it a letter was sent to both parties.Mr. Donnell has been told to stop his activities at his gun range and remove all un-permitted structures.
I’m told that the city attorney did not find in favor of Donnell. Maybe Concerned One or one of Mr. Donnell’s representatives could contact us for comment.
NO one wins here and we do not want it to be said that we are pouring salt into any wounds.
If there is a lessoned to be learned from this story is that because our local Main Stream Media refused to cover this story, Cactus Thorns became the sole source for news on this subject. Our local media let the citizens of this community down because they felt that because Cactus Thorns broke the story, they were not going to report on it. Juvenile ain’t it?
A final Note On The Donnell Gun Range,
I doubt that this is really the “Final Note”. There is sure to be responses, counters, charges, and forth comings.

I think I need to clarify something here. I have all the information to make a great story, but I thought it would be better if I inform our readers that the issue had been settled and let it go at that.
There was no reason to be cruel and post the letter from the city to Mr. Donnell.
I figured if you wanted to tell the folks what happened, you could.
