Here is the info -
TRAILS SURVEY AVAILABLE ONLINE
For residents who were unable to attend the Community Trails Plan public workshop on Feb. 16, the City of Twentynine Palms has made meeting materials available on their website, along with an opportunity to comment online via an online survey tool.
A Draft Non-Motorized Trails Map and Draft Planning Framework, containing goals for a proposed trails system for Twentynine Palms, are among the workshop handouts posted on the site. These materials should be reviewed before taking the survey, which offers questions related to pedestrian, bicycle, and equestrian trails and destinations as well as OHV policy issues.
The City’s website is located at: www.ci.twentynine-palms.ca.us, or just Google “Twentynine Palms.” A link on the front page of the City’s site will take you to the Trails page and the online survey, which will be available only through March 12.
“If an online survey doesn’t work for you, you can download the survey in hardcopy using the Trails Comment Form link on the City website, and drop it off at the Parks and Recreation office at Luckie Park,” said Community Trails Plan coordinator Stephanie Weigel. “You only need to do one or the other to make your opinions heard–online survey or hardcopy responses.”
All responses from the trails survey will be summarized after the March 12 deadline, so residents are encouraged to get their comments in by that time, preferably online. For more information, contact Community Services Director Randy Councell at (760)367-7562.
