On Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at approximately 8:26 a.m., deputies from Victorville Station responded to a suspicious circumstances call in the area of Hesperia Rd. near Sunset Ave. The caller reported dead body was found at that location.
Deputies arrived on scene and confirmed there was a deceased adult male, white or Hispanic, approximately 30 to 50 years of age. The deceased was dressed in female clothing, with a tattoo of a diamond above each eyebrow and a tattoo on his right cheek that appears to be a number.
Due to the location and condition of the body, Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators were called and are conducting a death investigation at this time.
An autopsy will be conducted at a later date to determine to cause of death. Anyone with any information regarding this investigation, or the victim’s identity, is urged to call Detective Bill Doemner or Sergeant Brad Toms at (909) 387-3598 at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Detail. The first thing that I would like to say is that anymore comments that are degrading and that represents slander and defermation of character will be dealt with appropriately because although it is a first amendment right it against the law to misrepresent a person’s character so I would advise all those who wish to act in this way will be dealt with in a court of law.
You might talk with your Attorney about that. We have no intention in retracting a single user comment nor do we plan on removing the official Press Release of the San Bernardino County Sheriff.
Since being so close to Palm Springs and guys running around in women’s clothes is just a normal part of the this Desert’s lifestyle, I don’t even think anyone other than the Police Report keyed on his clothing.
None of the comments here concerned his attire and were more comments on his face tattoos.
It looks like his lifestyle bothers you and your family more than it does anyone on this board.

Poor guy was Identified this afternoon: NAME RELEASED: Kevin Jason Cloyd, a 34 year old male, possibly of the Victorville area.
Before you guys go posting ignorant comments that you think are funny think about who will read them! I am in Kevin’s family and do not appreciate your jokes nor do i find them humorous. Grow up and quite being ingnorant. Would you want someone joking around about your death or your tats? He was not gay, he was not a cross-dresser, he had a home and a family. It is hard enough that someone felt compelled enough to play god and take his life but ignorant people making unappropriated comments only make it worse.

I do make assumptions when I hear of a man in a women’s dress with diamond tattoos over both eyes.
It seems to me a bit out of the normal realm of a family man.
It sounds more like the m.o. of a person living on the edge, in a world where death is almost an expectancy. It’s more like an adrenaline addiction than a death wish. Unfortunately death does come. To some it’s a blessing, to others, unfair.

Well when some MURDERS you, you don’t have much of a choice in what kind or gender of clothes someone puts you in. It is not funny or a joke and he was not gay or a cross-dresser. He had a girlfriend and a family. Don’t judge him on his appearance he was not a person living on the edge, nor was he an addict and his death was not an expectancy. He did not have a death wish and was only there to take care of his mom. Also don’t believe everything you read. Another thing he did not have a diamond over both eyes. He had a diamond on one eye and its meaning is beyond you and not something i wish to share with someone making jokes about his death. Yes he had drug problems and a criminal record five years ago but since then he has been clean, gotten the help he needed and has not been in trouble. He had settled down and had an honest job. Yes, people do change and that takes a better person than it does for someone prowling on the internet making fun of someone.
Kevin was a really great guy if you could overlook, his propensity to burglary and rape, years of being in the criminal justice system, Facial self-mutilation, drug use, and dressing up like Barbara Streisand.
