Two Tweeking Terwilligers Try to take Spotlight 29

INDIO– On Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., deputies responded to the Spotlight 29 Casino in reference to two subjects being detained by casino security for fraud.

Sherry Terwilliger, age 50 of Redlands and Garry Terwilliger, age 48 of Yucaipa attempted to use a stolen California Identification Card in another person’s name to obtain a player’s card. Further investigation resulted in a search of their vehicle and the recovery of several casino player cards, mail, and credit cards in other people’s names, methamphetamine and hypodermic needles.

Sherry Terwilliger was arrested and booked for identity theft, burglary, possession of methamphetamine, possession of hypodermic needles and a misdemeanor warrant for petty theft. Garry Terwilliger was arrested and booked for two misdemeanor traffic warrants for driving with a suspended license. The investigation is continuing in the recovery of casino player cards, mail, and credit cards in other people’s names.
