I wonder why Howard don’t call?

On Friday, February 5, 2010, at about 1:15 pm, a family member of Howard Morse 47, of Lucerne Valley, called the San Bernardino County Sheriff Victor Valley Station to request a welfare check of Mr. Morse. The family member who lives out of the area had not heard from Morse for 3 to 4 weeks. A deputy responded to Morse’s residence and after searching the property located a deceased male inside a camper. The Victor Valley Station requested the assistance of the Specialized Investigation Division, Homicide Detail. Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators responded and are currently conducting the investigation. At the conclusion of the initial scene investigation there were no signs of foul play or trauma to the victim, and at this time the case is being handled as a death investigation.
