If you want to save your sport you got to stand and be counted brothers and sisters. If you want trails come to the public meetings and say so. If you want to continue to have hunting opportunities in the city come to the public meetings and tell your Public Officials.
Mike Hawkins, his lovely wife and I were the only ones at the 29 Palms City Council tonight speaking for both off roaders and 2nd Amendment issues. That was pitiful friends… pitiful.
Off-Roaders and Hunters be advised I do not do Public Speaking worth a crap. I make it a habit to stay out of the fray most of the time. It takes an emergency situation of such magnitude as to be that I am the only man standing for me to say something on the pulpit anymore and tonight was one of those nights.
These are the times that try men’s souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.
This is one of those times that Thomas Paine referred to in Common Sense (1776), when the fate of not only this generation but the next depends upon liberty loving citizens to come forward and be counted.
