Sherry Hall Steps Over The Line

January 16, 2010

gauntlet 300x189 Sherry Hall Steps Over The LineLet me tell you and the rest of the blog what Ms. Hall did just the other day – Friday the 15th of January, 2010.

Ms. Hall thought it would be appropriate to call the Sheriff’s Department to complain about my actions as an elected official.

It appears that Ms. Hall thinks that I can be swayed or silenced by my employer if she complains that what I do and think as an elected official is just not right in her opinion.

I have thought about this matter for a day now and I have spoken to my wife about it too.

Laura and I are of the opinion that we have had enough of this type of conduct from a select few individuals.

I guess if Ms. Hall did not like a decision that Joel Klink made she would contact the United States Post Office to complain about the mail carrier that uses his position as a mail carrier to make bad decisions.

Maybe she would contact the Morongo Unified School District about John Cole so as to effect his retirement pay.

For that matter lets call the Sheriff about Steve Flock because he is a retired San Bernardino County Sheriff.

Lets not leave out Jim Harris, we can call the Marine Base retirement department to let them know what a bad elected official he is in hopes that they cut his retirement pay.

Laura and I have had it!

There are things that people just should not mess with and my job is one of them.

So, Laura and I will be seeking legal advise in regards to Ms. Hall’s actions and I will be seeking legal advice from my union in regards to people trying to effect my decisions as an elected official by trying to effect my employment.

In short what Ms. Hall did was beyond the scope of decency. I hope that others are as outraged as I and my Laura are.

You are a target using Saul Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals

    * Rule 1: Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have. If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.
    * Rule 2: Never go outside the experience of your people. The result is confusion, fear, and retreat.
    * Rule 3: Whenever possible, go outside the experience of an opponent. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.
    * Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. “You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”
    * Rule 5: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
    * Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. “If your people aren’t having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic.”
    * Rule 7: A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. Commitment may become ritualistic as people turn to other issues.
    * Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage.”
    * Rule 9: The threat is more terrifying than the thing itself. When Alinsky leaked word that large numbers of poor people were going to tie up the washrooms of O’Hare Airport, Chicago city authorities quickly agreed to act on a longstanding commitment to a ghetto organization. They imagined the mayhem as thousands of passengers poured off airplanes to discover every washroom occupied. Then they imagined the international embarrassment and the damage to the city’s reputation.
    * Rule 10: The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative. Avoid being trapped by an opponent or an interviewer who says, “Okay, what would you do?”
    * Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.

    You know Dan,

It is just not Sherry Hall -- it is the others that we all know the names of.

The ones that we all speak of and we everyday folk just say to ourselves “well that is just _______ -- put whatever name you wish in that blank. That population of names is small but well known.

I have heard that mantra for years as if saying well it is just so and so and what so and so says does not matter makes it all better and not important.

It does matter and for all the People that have said well it is just so and so and did nothing and want to do nothing -- just wait your turn may also come.

I and Laura have had it and we are not going to sit and take it anymore nor will we accept those that just want to say it is just so and so.

Radical rules be darned -- my wife and I intend to fight these people in the press and the courts if we can.

I just wish that more people would rise up and say “Enough!”

Steve you have been villainized by the coordinator of the Community ORV Watch Sherry Hall just like the rest of the community that does not go along with her beliefs.

Why are they against legal OHV trails in 29? Why are they against changing the unconstitutional part of ordinance 3973? I wholeheartedly believe its because it does not fit their utopia.

These problems they created did not exist befor they bought property here. I find it funny that Sherry is called on her Illegal vacation rentals and she is so above the law she goes after you. That there is Funny

Sherry should contact the City to workout a compromised settlement and payment plan, and simply say she made a mistake. People would respect that.

To call Steve’s employer is just plain wrong (and possible actionable). If Sherry has a problem with Steve, she should write a letter to the editor, blog it, work on a recall, contact him or bring it to the City Council.

Sherry ought not have called Steve’s employer.

Wow… that’s really all I can say. There is low and there is totally unacceptable and this falls into the totally unacceptable category.

It shows that she truly has absolutely zero regard for any normal decency.

Sherry Halls view of who else she likes. Sorry Steve you were not included.

” Again I ask, why do recreationalists nsisit on being part of the problem instead of part of the solution? Why doesn’t Ramen think it is a problem to add to the dust and poluition load in this Basin? Why doesn’t she care enough to at least not mock the respiratory problems of her neighbors?

When one adds Ramen’s mocking of people with respiratory illness her web discussion of the nature of her husband’s ability to satisfy her sexually, one starts to get a pretty good picture of who Ramen is. Then add Ramen to James “The Stalker” Goldsborough, Bully Boy “Mike” Hawkins, Ken “Pants-on-Fire” Piel, and Ray “Back Door” Pessa and we start to get a much better view of who the recreationalists are.

Waaaaaahhhhhhh! Baby demands his recreation!!!! Waaaaahhhhh!!!! ”

It appears her fearless leader has assigned her rule #5. Rule 5: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
Only problem is, that she is too angry and hateful to pull it off.

Steve, I am not outraged at all, I am well beyond that. Am I suprised this happened? Not at all. I thought it would have come sooner. This is only one instance of how low these kind of people will go. They are imbedded in the politics of this town. I think we are going to start seeing more and more people stand up to this click that thinks they control this area.

The vacation rental issue is just the tip of the iceberg in my opinion of the inner working of their kingdom. I would not be suprised if more of these same kind of shenanigans surface. You won’t read it in the local fish wrappers. I hope other people who have had it with these people discover this site.
