My husband and I are saddened by this accident and want to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Newcomb. We do not know Mr. Newcomb and can not even begin to imagine how Christmas will take on a new meaning. However, we do know the pain of losing a loved one. Know that you are in our prayers.
I thought about this recent death. Being close to the same age I pondered the prospect of would I go out for a ride if I knew it was going to take my life? Easy, no way. Would I trade all of my life’s experiences off roading if I could live a little longer? That for me was easy as well, no way! For me it’s all about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Then what if my right to ride was going to be taken away forever…… I think that was easy as well. Fight with all my might. Guess what, I think that where we are headed. Pull your head out of the sand and take a stand. If you don’t start now tomorrow may be to late.
