FLASHBACK POST TO DECEMBER 21, 2009!-In the 1960′s there was the car that was also a boat. In the 2000′s we have the off highway vehicle that can fly. Just imagine being able to cross Lear Avenue or get to the shooting range that is behind 5 locked gates.
Don’t worry be happy because all you need to do is drive up, take to the air and land. Its that simple with the new Ariel ATV from Buckeye Aviation. Imagine having two engines a three cylinder 100 hp Hirth to drive the propeller, and a 150 cc motorcycle type engine to power the drive train. The two place, side-by-side machine will fly at 34 mph and travel across the ground at 40 mph.
This new combination off highway vehicle and powered parachute has an hydraulic steering system which allows you to steer the 550 square foot parachute in the air by two simple levers. As with other Powered Parachutes, the chute is laid out back before take-off. On acceleration of the aircraft, the parachute inflates and lifts the vehicle off the ground then gently soars through the sky. After flight, the parachute is safely tucked into the bag for the next adventure!
Whether you are looking to fulfill a lifelong dream or find freedom and adventure, discover what a rewarding experience flying a Ariel ATV can be! And, no matter what you know it as…power parachute, flying parachute, paraplane, or powrachute…Nothing compares to the exhilaration of flying a Ariel ATV! Experience the thrill of flying low and slow above the Morongo Basin and desert floor to see your world in a way that few experience.
