Twentynine Palms, Ca— In a gutsy move Mayor Pro-Tem John Cole has scheduled to place a question on the table tonight, that the City Council review the procedures for placing an item on the agenda.

The current practice is that any Council member may request an item be placed on a future agenda with the City Manager working to schedule the item in a timely fashion.

This is a gutsy move to rein in one nut ball councilman, in the fact that I’m betting the Council is already about had enough of the Flamboyance of Gentleman “Jay” Corbin.

Since he took his seat, Corbin has asked to dismantle years of work the council has done in cleaning up the mess that was left by prior City Managers and Corbin himself as Community Development Director.

It is obvious the guy has no idea what it is to work within a budget of money that belongs to his constituents. I assume Corbin thinks taxpayer dollars grow on Money Bushes.

I don’t know if the council is going to go for it but Kudos to Mr. Cole for attempting to protect years of good will that the City has garnered. This guy can screw it up in 6 months.

Given his head, Corbin would have the Citizens at the front portico with pitchforks and ropes by Summer. He is just an unbelievable political neophyte.
