According to the Senator From New York Chuck Schumer (D) half of you guys on this website would have your Second Amendment Rights pulled from you. Yes, that is right. According to Chucky, if you smoke a joint you lose your rights. If you take a Vicodin from your wife or husband’s prescription bottle because you have a headache, you lose your 2nd Amendment Rights. If you did a little speed in college to study for the Mid-Terms you loose your 2nd Amendment Rights.

Schumer Pushes for Military to Report Applicants’ Drug Use to Prevent Gun Purchases – FoxNews.com

WASHINGTON – If someone admits to a federal official that he’s used illegal drugs, that information should be sent to the FBI so that person can be disqualified from purchasing a gun, Sen. Chuck Schumer said Sunday.

Noting that the alleged shooter in the Tucson massacre had admitted to military recruiters that he had used drugs on several occasions, Schumer said he is proposing to the Justice Department and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives that the military be required to notify federal officials about such admissions. The New York Democrat said such a process does not require new legislation. MORE

  1. I’ve taken the oath three or four times in my life to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Most recently, this past summer, when I as sworn in as a census enumerator, I once again took the oath.

Now comes the testy senior senator from New York, Chuck Schumer, to put that oath into play. I’m a non-violent so Chuck is safe even though he is the domestic threat. My best action to fulfill my affirmation to support and defend the Constitution is this comment and an e-mail to Senator Schumer.

We send these bastards to Washington to defend the Constitution and what do they do? Defile it and attempt to dismantle it — be it the Second Amendment, the Fourth or the constellation of the Fourteenth and Fifth Amendment. You can pick up a guy to kill foreign enemies while in the military, but he doesn’t want people to protect themselves in their homes.

What’s next, alcohol, smoking or jay walking? Interestingly, Chuck opted to duck the draft to attend Harvard during the Vietnam fiasco. Now he’s sending a message to U.S. vets — past and present — and others — drink a few and you loose your constitutional rights.

    What a prick!

Chucky is a guy that I differ with more often than not. He’s a smart guy and it’s no coincidence that he and other law makers propose things that don’t make sense at a time when the nation is in shock and mourning from the Tucson rampage. I’m disappointed at the lefties for not taking the same kind of stand they did against Bush when they thought he was intruding on our rights. Of course what nation can survive when those that are in power subvert the constitution and illegally pass bills without a full vote? Those that are in power are counting on your allegiance to their political party. The constitution is counting on you to vote the traitors out.

  3. Mike Hawkins Mike says:

Who keeps voting these communist bastards into office?
Real AMERICANS better start going to the polls, eh?

  4. Paparrazi Paparrazi says:

Who keeps voting them back? Apparently a majority of people that want something for free. It’s the Robinhood mentality. The new take on the American Dream in public education is “Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country can do for you”

    • Mike Hawkins Mike says:

What they want ain’t free Paparrazi. Far from it! The price of what they want is freedom itself and they seem to be willing to pay it. Problem is, they are not just spending their own freedom they are squandering yours and mine right along with theirs and all to purchase something I don’t even want. That’s why I call them communist bastards. I sometimes call them communist sons of bitches !!! I don’t like them!!!

      • Paparrazi Paparrazi says:

I was referring to the people that vote them in. They vote because they are promised benefits they don’t contribute to known as entitlements. These are the people that voted for Obama because he’s going to pay for their rent, gas etc. When one woman was asked where he gets the money from she said, “I don’t know I guess he gets it from his stash”
You and I know that stash is our hard earned cash. That’s the danger of our voting system. It depends on a righteous people who are taught to be patriotic and not self fulfilling. What’s next, free gas for the poor payed for by the wealthy? Just yesterday Mike Antonovich LA Supervisor said that they are spending over a billion dollars supporting illegal aliens. We are all paying to support these leaches, why do many of them come here? Free health care, welfare. They can even get a free lawyer to sue us if we deport them.

  5. Paparrazi Paparrazi says:

Dear Dan, Sorry to inform you that your request for public assistance for the Government Motors Volt has been denied due to the fact that our records show that you pay your taxes and believe in free speech. Though not conclusive statistically based on just the 2 points noted above we do not think it would be fair to return any benefits to you as this would be contrary to the Presidents philosophy of “Spreading the Wealth Around” Returning money that we rightfully took from you is not fair to those that don’t pay their taxes!
We do thank you for your request
