Hemet, Ca– On December 7, 2010, approximately 10:55 a.m., deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Hemet Station received information from Soboba Indian Reservation Tribal Enforcement that a stolen black Nissan Frontier truck was seen on the Reservation.

Deputies waited outside of the Reservation entrance on Soboba Rd. until the vehicle exited the main entrance of the Reservation traveling westbound. The vehicle was occupied by a lone Native-American, male, adult later identified as 18-year-old, Eric Eugene Hampton, of the Soboba Reservation. Deputies confirmed the vehicle was reported stolen from the city of San Jacinto and conducted a felony stop in the 23000 block of Soboba Rd.
