On Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at about 2:30 PM, detectives from the Colorado River Sheriff’s Station arrived approximately 5 miles south of the intersection of Graham Pass Rd. and Chuckwalla Rd on Graham Pass Rd. in the unincorporated area of Riverside County near Blythe regarding found bones.
Upon arrival, detectives located several human bones at the location including a skull and a jawbone. The bones appeared to have been at the location for some time.
The remains were transported to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s office for examination by the forensic anthropologist.
The investigation is ongoing and no more information will be released at this time.
The case is currently being handled as a suspicious death by the Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit.
