Twentynine Palms, Ca– Residents of Twentynine Palms are invited to participate in a public meeting on Thursday, September 30, to provide feedback on the City’s proposed branding and marketing program. The public meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Twentynine Palms Community Services Center across from Luckie Park, 74325 Joe Davis Drive.
City staff and principals from the consulting firm RSG Inc. will discuss the results of a 2009 branding and marketing program study and preliminary options that were presented to the City Council in March 2010 and will offer an additional opportunity for community input.
The goal for creating a new branding logo and marketing tagline is to establish an image for Twentynine Palms that encompasses all the assets the community offers, such as the beauty of the natural desert, a strong sense of community, the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Joshua Tree National Park, public murals, a vibrant art community, and the opportunity for outdoor activities.
Residents who would like to share their thoughts and ideas are encouraged to attend. For questions or more information, contact City Hall at 760-367-6799.
